Yoga Philosophy – Intro to Advaita Vedanta.

Tuesday; September 25th from 7:45pm – 8:30pm 

In our yoga philosophy class we will be exploring the philosophical concepts surrounding the practice of Asana (yogic postures). Insighting a deeper understanding of why we practice Asana and the many ways in which Yoga (union) can be experienced.

This month our topic of discussion will be an introduction to Vedanta, particularly Advaita Vedanta (the Vedic Philosophy of non-duality).

All classes will be filled with information presented objectively, yoga philosophy is about developing critical thinking for yourself, rather than a clear set of one size fits all standards. You are welcome to bring pen and paper for notes, also all classes will be audio recorded. In the traditional way of sharing knowledge this class will be supported by good will offerings alone. Yoga and Mimosas – Open Haus Potluck

Join us for a Sunday morning Sun Salutation Yoga Flow lead by Gladys Racette and Lisa Hammond. After our yoga practice, join us in community with mimosas and brunch goodies. Potluck, please bring a dish or snack to share. Mimosas are provided.
